Xbox Game Pass Opens August with Beast of Reincarnation and Gears Testing

Xbox has outlined the first Game Pass additions for August, mixing new releases with games moving into more subscription tiers. Game Pass Ultimate members receive Beast of Reincarnation, the new action RPG from Game Freak, alongside access to the Gears of War: E-Day open beta and its revised wave-based Horde mode. Date Everything! is also joining Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass, offering a comedic dating premise in which household furniture becomes a cast of characters. Other games, including Grounded 2, Ball x Pit, PowerWash Simulator 2, and Mio: Memories of Orbit, are expanding into additional Game Pass tiers. Subscribers also have a deadline to consider: Firewatch and Aliens: Fireteam Elite are among the titles scheduled to leave the service on August 15.
