Xbox Teases a Completion Reward Comparable to PlayStation's Platinum Trophy

Xbox may introduce a new reward for players who complete every achievement in a game later this year. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma teased the work after being asked on social media whether the platform would receive an equivalent to PlayStation's Platinum trophy. Her response confirmed only that a team is working on something for later in 2026, so its name, requirements, and launch support remain unknown. On PlayStation, a Platinum trophy is normally awarded after all other trophies have been unlocked. Xbox players can already collect achievements and Gamerscore, but the service currently has no universal completion badge for finishing a game's achievement list. The tease arrives alongside achievement-management improvements now rolling out to Xbox Insiders, including sorting libraries by name, completion percentage, Gamerscore earned, and unlocked achievement count. The update is due to reach all users later.
