World of Warcraft Brings Azeroth to the Dungeons & Dragons Tabletop
World of Warcraft is becoming an official Dungeons & Dragons tabletop setting this November. The release is built to let groups create campaigns across Azeroth with all 13 World of Warcraft classes, additional subclasses and specializations, and a selection of familiar playable species. It also introduces more than 60 spells, 25 magic items, 50 monsters, and 30 dungeon bosses. Seven recognizable dungeons, including the Deadmines, Onyxia's Lair, and the Scarlet Monastery, are adapted for tabletop play. The design goes beyond names and artwork by translating systems such as professions and faction Renown into the D&D format. Early access begins November 3, followed by the full release on November 17, with several editions also offering digital rewards for World of Warcraft players.
