Former Director Returns to Ubisoft to Lead the Future of Assassin's Creed
Ubisoft has rehired veteran game director Eric Baptizat to take the helm of upcoming projects in the Assassin's Creed franchise. Baptizat previously played a pivotal role in shaping several of the series' most successful entries, having served as director on Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Origins, and Black Flag. His return comes at a strategic moment for Ubisoft as the publisher evaluates the roadmap and creative direction for its flagship action-adventure property. By bringing back an experienced lead with a proven track record on both classic stealth-action and open-world RPG iterations of the franchise, Ubisoft aims to guide the long-term development and evolution of future Assassin's Creed titles.
